November 2010, Palatka, Fl

Hello, is there anybody out there?  I reckon it is time for an update (since it has been over a year since my last).

I am scared to write this as if it may jinx me and take longer to complete but I REALLY think we are about ready to put the boat in the water!  Hallelujah!  I guess we will live on this boat for the rest of our lives because I will never do this again.  Hindsight is 20/20 as they say and so it goes.

I cannot even remember what was happening on my last log nor can I imagine you, the reader, much cares so I will just summarize the last year + for you:-

  • Lots of work on the boat

  • making money to pay for lots of work on the boat

  • lots of work on the boat

  • making money to pay for lots of work on the boat

The kids are bigger and better adapted to boat life on a small vessel (28ft).  Yebo will feel like a mansion to them me thinks.  After 5 seasons of soccer I think they know enough about the sport to join in with other kids around the globe, yay friends.  They can out fish most adults and they are deep into their home school studies as we are in years 5 and 3 currently. I can't wait to get them on the boat and visit some of the places we have learned about.

Some pics of the boat are of the water line being marked out.  The epoxy paint going on and then the antifouling paint.

Really hoping to be on her for Christmas but I think Jan is more likely.
